But I have a ...I used to hate my curls. The curly girl life wasn't as glamorous when I was a little girl. Frizz was my middle name. Highlights weren't an option (unless you wanted to fry your hair off!). And the salon industry wasn't putting out as many products that worked for the curls.
Natural texture just wasn't embraced like it is today, and younger Naya...she wished she could do something, anything, to tame her wild tresses.
