I specialize in helping people embrace their natural texture and learn how to get salon-quality curls at home.
But I have a ...I used to hate my curls. The curly girl life wasn't as glamorous when I was a little girl. Frizz was my middle name. Highlights weren't an option (unless you wanted to fry your hair off!). And the salon industry wasn't putting out as many products that worked for the curls.
Natural texture just wasn't embraced like it is today, and younger Naya...she wished she could do something, anything, to tame her wild tresses.

Five years ago, I made good on that vow - mastering every trick, technique, and curl-care product out there. Now I wake up everyday blessed to help women, men, and kids feel beautiful, seen, and confident in their curls.

Meet Jessica (aka Jess) - a Brooklyn-Born Nuyorican Curly Hair Specialist
Today, Jess calls Jacksonville home! Her passion for textured hair started with her own natural hair restoration journey back in 2012, when she made the intentional decision to ditch heat tools and commit to embracing her God-given curls. What began as personal healing quickly turned into a calling to help others love their curls, too.
Jess brings over 5 years of experience working exclusively with curly and textured hair. She's a certified Curly Hair Specialist and Trichologist, trained at some of the industry’s leading curl education programs, including Rëzo Academy, Curly World, Raw Curls, Cadō Academy, and The Art of Curls Academy.
Grounded in faith, health, integrity, family, and service, she brings science, soul, and style to every appointment — creating a calm, supportive experience where you feel seen, educated, and empowered to care for your curls confidently in the salon and at home.
Surprise! Not only did we expand the salon and our hours, but in order to better serve more curls (and more schedules), we've got a team of experienced curly hair stylists at the salon so we can serve more curlfriends while keeping every appointment curl-healthy, technique-driven, and personal.

Meet Marilyn - Curly Hair Stylist, Barber-Cosmotologist + Tricologist
Marilyn’s own hair journey is a big part of what brought her behind the chair. She had to learn to love her curls too, so she genuinely cares about helping you embrace your natural beauty and feel confident.
As a barber-cosmetologist and trichologist, Marilyn has a special love for scalp care, hair wellness, and creating healthy curls from the foundation. She serves men and women. Her appointments are thoughtful, calming, and never rushed. She’s also bilingual - which we love! So she's able to care for even more of our Jacksonville curly community.
Outside the salon, Marilyn's all about faith, family, seafood, and a good game of bowling. You'll find her at the salon on Saturdays, making her a go-to for curlfriends who need a little more weekend flexibility.

Meet Nina - Curly Hair Stylist + Hair Colorist
Born and raised in Jacksonville, Nina's spent the last 3 years behind the chair as a curly hair stylist and hair colorist, helping clients get to know, care for, and feel good in their natural curls. She loves creating healthy, defined, lived-in curls that look as good at home as they do in the salon.
And Nina has a special way of making you feel extra taken care of. She specializes in healthy, defined, lived-in curls that are fully customized to you. And she's all about intentional appointments, real conversations, and making sure you leave the chair feeling like THAT girl.
Plus, she's a huge foodie! When she’s not behind the chair, you'll find her trying new restaurants around town, grabbing a matcha, or heading out for a walk with her husband. So make sure to ask her for a recommendation!
Nina also has evening and Saturday appointments available for curlfriends who need something outside the usual weekday schedule.
